In the last issue, we talked about two reasons why dental flossers hurt teeth. This time we will talk about the other two reasons.

3. Buy a low-quality dental flosser. I don’t need to say more about the damage caused by inferior flossers to our teeth. So, what kind of flossers are inferior? I personally think that the lower the price of the flosser, the worse the performance. For example, the pressure of the water pump used by the low-quality dental flossers on the market is uneven, and the structural design is too rough, resulting in unstable and uneven water output, which in turn causes tooth damage. In addition, due to the relatively low price, such manufacturers do not have much money and energy to invest in the materials and technology used in terms of cost, so they cannot meet the requirements for use at all. Therefore, is it necessary to use a dental flosser? Personally, I think it is unnecessary to use a low-quality dental flosser.

4. Improper use by novices. The wrong way to use is also one of the many reasons for tooth injury. Among the people who use dental flossers around me, there are also many people who use the wrong method. After causing tooth injury, they will also consult me about the correct method of use. I will always tell them to use the gentle mode. The water column should be perpendicular to the tooth surface and move slowly along the gum line. During the movement, the distance should be moderate, not too far. Therefore, is it really necessary to buy a flosser? I think the correct usage is very important.
